Cramo contributes to a safer and healthier work environment

Acknowledging the World Day for Safety and Health at Work

As a company, Cramo takes pride in playing an important role in promoting safety and health at work, especially in the construction and civil engineering industry, which witnesses over 3,500 serious accidents every year in Europe. To align with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and the foundation of our  strategy, we are committed to achieving zero accidents at job sites.

For many years, we have supported our customers in providing safe work environments, offering a broad range of safety equipment and solutions, including fall protection, trainings, and safety related services. Our e-commerce and mobile app make all safety documents easily accessible to our customers when they need them. In addition, our Eco Choice concept supports our customers in transitioning to emission-free and hybrid alternatives to diesel and petrol-driven equipment, which can significantly reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) and noise levels on job sites.

At Cramo, we see that behavior and culture at work are crucial to create a safe working environment.  To support these areas, we provide training for all employees, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other external parties. Therefore, we conduct regular internal safety training to ensure that our employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge to handle equipment safely. We also provide external safety training in Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Lithuania.

When it comes to the health and well-being of our employees, we prioritize transparency, honesty, and equality. A major part of our foundation in our strategy is to create a culture that is diverse and inclusive, where individuals of all ages, genders, and backgrounds h ave equal opportunities for growth and advancement. We place a significant emphasis on competency-based training and are committed to support career development to encourage our employees to achieve their full potential. At the end of the day, we want to have the safest, most satisfied, and most engaged employees.

It is worth noting that the implementation of occupational health and safety management systems is widespread throughout Cramo’s markets. Our operations in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Estonia, and Lithuania have all earned certification to the ISO 45001 standard.

Our commitment to promoting safety and health at work is unwavering, as we continue to strive to create a safer and healthier work environment for everyone.
