Sustainability in Rental

The European Rental Association (ERA) is a common forum for rental companies, equipment manufacturers and national rental associations to meet, discuss questions of common interest, and further develop the rental industry. Cramo takes an active role in ERA through representation in its Board of directors, as well as in specialized committees like Promotion, Statistics, the Technical committee, and the Future group.

“In my area, ERA’s Sustainability Committee is very important to reach out with the sustainability benefits of rental as a sourcing form”, says Anders Collman, VP Sustainability in Cramo Group. “In the industry, we know that the rental companies are right in the middle of the ‘sharing economy’ and thus key players to help the construction industry and other end-users to increase their resource efficiency and reduce the environmental impact. ERA is an important vehicle to reach European regulatory authorities with this message. It is also an important forum to develop further by exchanging experiences with both peers and manufacturers”.
