Kai, Account Manager, Finland

Our Account Manager Kai in Finland, has been a within sales for 15 years and he has sold everything from tools to candy. With his long experience, he knows that most important in his job is to take good care of customer relations and make sure to be the best representative for Cramo as he possibly can.

“If you want to be a good sales representative, you have to know your customer and be two steps ahead – and you have to love your work. Because sales is a matter of heart and soul”, he says.

Four years ago, Kai entered the doors to Cramo for the first time. Growing up with a father who was a mechanic and worked with forest machines, Kai has had a passion for all kinds of motor-driven machines, including earth moving equipment, all his life. This was one of the reasons why he applied to an open position at Cramo.

Kai is located in Rovaniemi in the North of Finland, near the Arctic circle – rumors has it, that Rovaniemi is where Santa Claus lives.

“I sometimes say Santa is my neighbour, so I have to be nice all year around, not just before Christmas”, Kai says with a laughter.

Humour has always been a big part of Kai’s life and he doesn’t mind to be the comedian in the workplace. Having a great time with his colleagues is one of the best things about Cramo. But when it comes to doing his job, Kai doesn’t joke around – and people around him also see him as a very reliable co-worker.

“When somebody asks me to do something, I do my absolute best. The same goes with our customers, I always keep my promises.”, Kai adds.

Just like the midnight sun never goes down by the Arctic circle, Kai always tries to stay positive and take life as it comes. With a big and active family of five people and two dogs, Kai keeps himself busy. But one way for Kai to just roll with it and go with the flow, is taking the caravan out and spend some time in the beautiful nature in Finland or Sweden.

“My mobile. Accessibility is a big part of working with customer service.”

What do you do when you are not at work?
“I spend my time with my wife and three boys. Children´s hobbies, dog exhibitions and caravanning takes a big role in our family.”

What did you have for lunch today?
“I had a quick salad lunch.”
