Productivity partner for wind turbine site solutions

Moving into a more sustainable society has accelerated the number of fossil-free energy producers and we have an extensive offer for the customers in the wind power sector. Turbine manufacturers, developers and subcontractors turn to Cramo for equipment rental, site solutions, safety training and services like logistics and digital applications making the workday easier.

One customer case is Markbygden, the construction of one of the largest wind farms in Europe. We supply a number of stakeholders involved in the project with rental products and services. When the windfarm is finalized the number of turbines will be a total of 1101 and the park will supply 7% of the total electricity generation in Sweden. Markbygden is located west of Piteå in the northern parts of Sweden.

“We have been a supplier to the wind farm constructions for a period of almost 8 years. Now it’s really high pressure. Stage 1 is about to be completed, Stage 2 has recently started and now we are very close to getting started with Stage 3. We have worked closely with our customers so we have continued to receive assignments on a continuous basis”, concludes Jonas Sundström at Cramo.
