Cramo Student Accommodation

Temporary accommodation for students

Temporary accommodation for students can be ready in a few weeks

The Danish Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs Brian Mikkelsen has recently proposed that it should be possible to establish temporary student accommodation in the largest cities in Denmark to solve the challenges these cities have every year in September when the universities start. Cramo Adapteo is welcoming this news and can in a few weeks deliver creative, sustainable, energy-friendly accommodation for the thousands of students who today are without residence or who soon, when they are accepted to their study, will start searching for cheap solutions in the cities of Universities.

”It has for a long time been obvious, that the demand for student accommodation in the largest cities exceeds supply. We encourage the plans given by the Minister to allow establishment of temporary student accommodation to overcome these challenges, giving the students a possibility of a permanent place to live during their studies instead of moving from place to place,” says Director Mads Blom, Cramo Adapteo.

Cramo Adapteo is specialized in designing, developing and building modules for accommodation.

”We are one of the leading suppliers in Scandinavia of temporary accommodation including bath rooms, kitchen, living room etc. We offer a huge range of energy- and environment friendly solutions, which for sure will be perfect for students” says Mads Blom and continues:” The modules can be adapted to all needs, and be built on land or sea – meaning that they could be part of the harbor area in eg. Copenhagen. This gives the opportunity to create a creative student environment along the harbor front in Copenhagen.”

Cramo Adapteo’s complete modules fulfill the current building regulation and can be delivered and installed in a few weeks, and thereby be part of solving the need for extra student accommodations. The modules are available in different sizes and can be built in 1 – 3 floors, including opportunity to establish cozy outdoor areas in direct connection to the modules.

”We have for a long time tried to convince the Government that temporary student accommodation could be a good solution to the acute lack of accommodation among the young people in the larger cities. There is no doubt that by installing our modules, they will have a fast and cheap solution to solve a larger and larger problem they are facing every year at study start.”

”We have during the recent years delivered temporary accommodation for offices in connection with eg. Hospital construction, companies with lack of space and many other situations, planned or acute. And we delivered the largest camp in Copenhagen with modules for 400 workers working on the Copenhagen Metro
I look forward to soon to be part of solving the accommodation challenges for students in the cities of universities with our flexible solutions,” says Mads Blom.
